We came here to use our Yelp gift cards (before we lose them). When we game in we were greeted and the staff was friendly. We sat down and we were offered water while fresh bread. Our waitress was friendly. For appetizers we ordered corn and lump crab chowder. The chowder was good and had a Southwest flavor to it. We also ordered beef Potstickers and lobster Flatbread and both were very good. For dinner we both got the shrimp Pad Thai; which I had never tried before. It came out looking great and packed with shrimp. For me it was too sweet and I couldn't eat it. I would have rather had more spiciness to it. My husband of the other said that he liked his....but he will eat almost anything. The manager Beth came to check out our table and asked about our meal and me- Ole Honest Abe told her. She was very friendly and impressionable and offered me something else off the menu so I would be satisfied. It was obvious that she was really big on customer service and satisfaction. If it were not for her the rating would be lower but customer service goes a long, long way with me.

Gross! I've been to this location multiple times and I will never return! I sat and watched the manager and two servers touch people's food, including my own, as it came off the line with their bare hands. The bartender who was slow to service our table, scratched her hair multiple times and never washed her hands even once. She also touched our food 'because it was falling off the plate' with her nasty hands. I don't want to hear gloves are available on the line, because I had a very clear view and they weren't being used. Barbaric, dangerous, and plain gross! Eat here at your own risk!

I've been to Bonefish several times before, but my most recent visit to this location was my best so far! First and foremost, I'm a sucker for awesome service. Both the hostess and waitress were friendly and fun to talk to. You can tell they enjoy their jobs and interacting with people and we felt well taken care of. We went on a Tuesday and they had a several specials for the night. I had the cold water lobster tail with a Caesar salad and couscous. Everything was prepared perfectly and tasted great! My date ordered the lobster thermidor over a sirloin with garlic mashed potatoes and spaghetti squash and he cleared the plate faster that I could finish my first bite! You also receive a complimentary order of fresh bread with an olive oil & herb dipping dish. I'm a huge fan of dirty martinis and this particular place has "extra dirty" (as our waitress raved about) martinis where they infuse the spirit with olives and let it marinate for 2 days. BEST DIRTY EVER! The ambiance is perfect for a date night and I also noticed a lot of friends and families seated around us so this place caters to almost everyone. I will definitely be returning for some more dirties & seafood!

Love Bonefish Grill! Dining room is a little tight. Service is pretty good and the food is usually very good as well. The crab fried rice is amazing. The crabcakes are incredible. I love the salmon. Unlike all of my friends I come here with, I haven't tried the bang bang shrimp(had a bad experience with this type of dish elsewhere and years later I'm still traumatized lol). Drinks are not too strong so that's a plus. Happy hour is filled with nearby business professionals. Pretty nice crowd and mood to the place. Prices are reasonable. Good times.

Pineapple martini is refreshing and good for sipping. Service can be slow. You can order from the Outback nextdoor.

I'm not a huge fan of chain restaurants but I come to Yelp to give a special shout out to my server Lee - Lee. I dined with a group of 8 women and she was great. Understanding and attentive. Friendly and very proficient. The Tuna sashimi appetizer was great and very tasty. The Pad Thai not so much. Pad Thai is not supposed to be saucy and soupy and mine was.

Years ago I developed a taste for the original pomegranate martini and that's what keeps me coming back. As far as I'm concerned that pomegranate martini in the sparklingly clean, chilled martini glass IS Bonefish. My wild caught sockeye salmon with sauteed spinach, zucchini medley, and mushroom ravioli was ummm, ummm, goood! The server, Anthony, was attentive as he has been on prior visits. My dinner was delicious and the drink was too- until the light caught the iridescent red lipstick (I have not worn lipstick in weeks so I knew it was not mine). That squelched my urge for pomegranate martini #2 even though Anthony comped the first martini to the displeasure of the main bartender. I sit, sip my martini at one of the high bar-tables and observe. Every time I go- and that is not often since the management changed over a year ago- one of the bartenders is either cursing at a customer or stubbornly arguing with a customer about why the food is taking so long. Tonight was no exception. Bonefish, bring in more customer friendly bartenders and improve that bar atmosphere and I'll visit more often. Other than the hosts who greet guests at the door, the bartenders are the first opportunity to impress. Stop squandering that opportunity else more formerly-regular customers will continue to take their business elsewhere. In case you missed it, the food was wonderful. Taste-wise, my Original Pomegranate Martini was delicious and Anthony was a wonderful server. The bar performance needs a visit from that tv-guy who fixes restaurants.

Bonefish has amazing seafood! When you try this place out, you must, and I say MUST, try the Bang Bang Shrimp. It's fried shrimp with this amazing sauce on top of it. My mouth is just watering thinking about it! During the summer time they usually have a watermelon martini. It is so refreshing! It is garnished with frozen cubed watermelon which is a nice touch. Although Bonefish is known for its seafood, I always tend to get the Lily's Chicken. There is no way I can pass up goat cheese on chicken! I also like that they give you warm bread with delicious oil for dipping. My only negative review about Bonefish is that it is not opened for lunch.

Would have given 5 stars if we didn't wait 2 hours for food with our reservation. But the food was good and they did comp our drinks and our server was apologetic. Overall we had a good time.

I love this place. It has a very classy but comfortable ambience. Usually evenings are a very busy time for this restaurant. You may have to wait in a short line but they work diligently to get you seated. Once seated you are treated like royalty. The servers are very polite and friendly and go out of their way to see that your visit is so pleasant that you will want to tell your friends and return many more times.

The food is always fresh and served at the temperature you would expect. The Bang Bang Shrimp is an appetizer you must try! A mountain of lightly fried shrimp smothered in a special sauce that taste like it could have a mayo base offers up a slightly sweet an tangy taste explosion of delight in your mouth! If it's your first time, the wait staff can usually serve up some suggestions based on your taste. The service has always been good and the staff is friendly, courteous and often very accommodating as the goal is to make your dining experience a good one.

My friend picked up food for us to go from here and it was delicious! I had the bang bang shrimp appetizer and the Caesar salad. Both items were extremely filling. I almost added the ahi tuna sashimi to my order but I'm glad that I didn't because that was a lot of food! I'm not sure how the service is at the restaurant but it's a total win with me and the food. I'd definitely get something from here to go again.

The new menu is awful. I use to eat here at least once every two weeks until they took the fish sandwich off the dinner menu. Bonefish use to be a reliable chain restaurant, where you could count on descent seafood. The new menu combos remind me of Outback and the emphasis is placed on the sauces (butter) your food is soaked in.

Usually go to Bonefish often but has we been in a while. Long and behold the Bang bang shrimp are now $6.. on Weds. We had a reservation and were seated on time. The waitress was nice but everything she was at the table she was always rushed. Therefore, we had to end up asking other servers for items, like water refill. The bang bang shrimp didn't taste like they used to either. Don't know if the batter on shrimp was cooked long enough, but wasn't impressed.

We had a very good experience here a couple of weekends ago. The service was excellent and the food was great! We ordered the bang bang shrimp, which you cant go wrong with, soup, fish and chips, and a teriyaki chicken bowl. Everything was really good. If I had one complaint, it was that the fish was overly greasy. We came early on a Saturday, around 3:00 and had a few drinks which wound up being on HH special. That was a nice little surprise. We also got free bread to start, which was good as well. We will be coming back in the near future.

Used to be one of my favorites, but wasn't pleased with last visit last Thursday. Made online reservation but that didn't seem to be on their system even though I had a confirmation email. Luckily, with my party of two, the wait wasn't too long. Waitress very friendly to my friend but hardly acknowledged me - don't know if that is because my friend is blonde and white and I am neither, but it had me wondering. The level of service we each received was markedly different. Tried one of the OM specials but didn't like it - not a good idea to serve asparagus when it's not in season. Although, that was partly on me for ordering the dish, I suppose. If you want a better Bonefish experience, try the new Towson location. I'll give the Owings Mills location another try someday, maybe when I feel like splurging 800+ calories on an order of bang bang shrimp.

Omg! This place is #Fantastic Today my husband and I shared the Thai Coconut Shrimp, The Creme Brulee French Toast, The Oscar Omlette and endless BlackBerry Sangria! Everything was absolutely amazing! The service was on point, all of our food was prepared to perfection and the Bottomless BlackBerry Sangria (which is prepared a week in advance) was incredible! I will definitely be return when I'm in Baltimore and will definitely check out the Long Island NY location! LOVE THIS PLACE!

  • Nicole H.

Had heard bad thing about the restaurant...did not expect the food to be so good...the warm bread and olive oil was FANTASTIC! Some of the best that we have had...in fact we had two helpings of it...mixed drinks contained way too much ice...red sangria was good...restaurant filled quickly for a wednesday afternoon...steak was so tender and juicy...simply delicious..I had the stuffed tilapia and after the bang bang shrimp, and bang bang tacos (which had too much lettuce btw), I had to take my dinner home...tuesday is lobster night...cannot wait to try the lobster mac and cheese!

This used to be our go to place to eat no longer! The last 3 times the whole experience has gone completely down hill. First of all they did not have a baby seat that had working straps and my baby slid through and fell on the floor, thankfully she was fine. Then 3 out of 4 of us got our meal with the wrong sides. When we finally got the sides we requested the rice was so overlooked it was inedible. It makes we wonder if the kitchen staff is even trained to be in a kitchen. The only good thing was our server was very pleasant, the reason for the one star.

    (1)
  • Brett K.

Ok, one star is generous for this review. For carryout waited 45 min for the wrong order to come out. They secure payment up front and leave you standing there like an idiot. Done

We came here on Saturday for our Mother's Day dinner. My sister mistakenly made an online reservation for 6 (we actually had a party of 8). When we checked in & I explained the error, we still had to wait about 20 minutes before we got seated. We were seated at a VERY small table that clearly was not enough room for all of us. Right next to us was an empty table that would have accomodated us just fine, not sure why the hostess did not offer us that table. When the waiter came out & introduced himself to us, he had the hostess move us to the empty table. That was certainly appreciated since it was evident the hostess didn't care about our comfort. The restaurant was starting to get busy so it seemed like it took forever to even get our food order in. I don't blame our waiter though, it was clear they didn't have enough staff when we arrived. I ordered the Bang Bang Shrimp as an appetizer & it was very good. I got the grilled salmon with garlic whipped potatoes & zucchini. The salmon was good but the whipped potatoes were way too salty & the garlic was way too over powering. Take it from someone who loves garlic, it was too much. Those potatoes tasted like someone dumped a pound of salt & 2 pounds of garlic in it. I couldn't even finish it. My mother ordered the grilled salmon salad. The salad was gorgeous but the salmon was quite rare. Our waiter never asked my mother how she wanted her salmon cooked & whoever cooked it took it upon thelselves to serve a very rare salmon. Instead of sending it back, my mother just decided to box it all up & take it home. She was just going to regrill the salmon at home. Everyone else seemed to be pleased with their food. Overall, it was an OK experience. The food, although good, didn't blow me away & the hostesses seemed clueless. I may or may not come back to this establishment.

I've been a loyal customer here at the Owings Mills Bonefish for a couple of years now. Usually, the service is very good. But last night was the exception. After being seated, I waited patiently for my server. After about ten minutes, I was able to make eye contact with the greater, who came over and asked if anyone had been over to take my order. She said that she would talk with the manager. After waiting for an another five minutes and still no service, I got up and walked out.

I ordered the mango salsa it was saggy like they used canned mango instead of fresh mango. Also there was a black woman worker who was very rude to the bar tender smh i was like really in front of customers. I will not be returning for awhile.

The food was great. There were 5 people in our party and the food was fantastic for all five of us. I got the fish and chips and would recommend it. Tastes great! Our waitress was good too. Prompt service never had a problem. Now, why do I give three stars? Well the management and getting seated is just plain horrendous. We had a reservation for 5. We come in tell them about our reservation and they say "okay one minute". At this point I can see about 40 empty tables. In the mean time someone else with 4 people who didn't have a reservation gets seated immediately. I look at the people in my party and we just kind of shake our heads in disbelief. 15 minutes later we gets seated at a table. It just seems they don't know what they're doing. The hostess even said they were not under staffed and would not give me an explanation to what was going on. This is understandable if there are not a lot tables and it is busy. However, it was the opposite which only means one thing incompetence.

Crowded, but worth the wait. You can even order off the Outback menu (located next door). My daughter really wanted coconut shrimp from Outback, but the wait was over an hour and we got into Bonefish in 20 minutes. The hostess knew we had tried Outback first so she notified us that we were free to order my daughter's meal off of the Outback menu. I thought that was excellent service! My husband and I tried the Bang Bang Shrimp - yum! Salad, salmon, and chicken flatbread sandwich were good too. Our server was attentive and friendly.

I live in the area and have been to Bonefish Grill several times already. I never have a problem with their food but I almost always have a problem with their service. I usually go in after work and have a drink before heading home. I'm almost always a party of one and I get some of the worst service. They ignore me, they ignore other single women (we chat about it) and I'm to the point where I'm ready to not go back. The managers there really need to work with their bartenders to not be so sexiest in how they treat and serve single women. The first or second time it's happened, I thought I was just misinterpreting things and now I think it's just their way. There isn't enough Bang Bang Shrimp in the world to make me keep putting up with that.

I have been a weekly , regular customer for years, but not anymore. Their service has gotten bad, their food has been overcooked, way too often, the wait times for getting food is outrageous, their portions have gotten smaller along with the increase of prices for food & substitutions,, not worth the price, anymore, they have lost me as a customer, tonight,!! A Bad night has happened too many times in the last few months, but tonight's very,,long wait for burnt , dry, overcooked food was the last straw, there wasn't enough waitress service & there were plenty of empty tables, Outrageous for a Holiday weekend !! This was my 1st Review I have ever submitted but I wanted to share my lousy experiences with the Owings Mills, Bonefish Grill !! I would Not Recommend U Eat at this location, was in a Fla location, last week, which was their, Usual, Good Standard , as Expected !

Calamari wasn't fresh and was rubbery. The Asian dipping sauce was very good. Ceviche was very good. Eggs Benedict, both traditional and with spinach and mushrooms, lacked seasoning, ham was chewy, muffin had the consistency of a hockey puck, and the hollandaise sauce was bland.

  • Crysta I.

This used to be a great place for dinner. But it is very loud, very crowded, and you can't even think about going without a reservation. The food is good, but the wait for it is sometimes too much to deal with.

We had a coupon for free Bang Bang shrimp which we get with the sauce on the side. It came out hot and perfect. I got the Lobster tail dinner in special and it was very tasty. My Fiancé got the fish and chips which was also good but the serving size and prep were a bit different. Smaller portion and different fish cut into tenders but it still tasted so good. Service was good, waitress was friendly and things came out fast and hot. Great dinner.

Love the corn chowder and the bread is amazing. The lime tomato garlic sauce is the jam. Always have friendly service. I don't usually like to eat spicy food but the bang bang shrimp is so delicious. Great restaurant!!

I love Bonefish Grill! I have never eaten something I didn't find delicious. Their appetizers are great size, perfect for two to share. For an entree I usually go with one of their specials. Their seafood dishes are my favorite of course... so delicious! If you're sharing, just ask for your dish to be split for two and they'll separate the entree in two plates for you. My one criticism is that it seems like over the past few years the portions of their entrees have decreased. That aside, this is one of my favorite restaurants. And their drink specials are pretty good too!

Terrible! Waitress wasn't listening and since I didn't want her spitting in my dinner I played along nicely. I asked for grilled fish with no oil or butter in anything. Simple, right? Wrong. Oil and butter all over everything including the "steamed" broccoli. Anyway, two thumbs down and I won't be back.

It's very very crowded and loud. On holidays don't even try to get in without a reservation, it will be an hour wait. But otherwise I love this place. The food is delicious. The rainbow trout is very good and for appetizers I recommend the calamari. I'm actually also obsessed with their garlic mashed potatoes, I sometimes just want to go to bonefish just to get that. So overall its a really nice restaurant.

  • Michael G.

We eat here a lot. Overall, BF rates highly, especially since it is a chain. We have eaten at Bonefish Restaurants in Jersey and Atlanta, GA and never had serious problem. The bar is almost always good as are the appetizers (mussels or the bang-bang shrimp stand out). The mains are usually quite nicely prepared, if a bit to the bland side. We enjoy the trout, both plain or pecan crusted. Shrimp dishes have been good and when they had lobster that too was very decently prepared. Wine list is decent and most choices are fairly priced. I have noticed that occasionally people get a bit upset with delays in seating and if you are easily upset, try chilling. Life's too short.

IF I COULD GIVE THEM ZERO I WOULD. The only thing worth going into this restaurant is a sip of the pear martini and hot bread, if its hot that day. The experience we had in OCTOBER 2014 is beyond words and corporate is being notified. Every possible way you can screw up dining experience, they did a 5-star job. The kids meal was cold but at least it was deep fried properly. The bang bang shrimp were freezing cold not one time, not two times but the THIRD time. The steak was over cooked to the point that Slim Jim and beef jerky companies would complain! All of this with freezing potatoes and frozen vegetables brought the "Shrek Manager" to our table who NEVER once said sorry or had an ounce of customer service, aka: apologize. His social skills could best be used at Comcast where customer service is extinct. The assistant manager did a much better job. I will never never never never bring anyone to this dump again for a very long time. With all of the choices in the area they better have a heart to heart with the cooks, and restaurant manager. This isn't a review to make you laugh but laughing is all you can do when you drop $100 on a meal and nobody even pretended to care about how F'ed up it turned out.

Their Atlantic salmon with lemon butter sauce is delicious! Their drinks are pretty good as well. Bonefish is most known for their Bang Bang Shrimp which has a very good sauce on top of it. It's always crowded on the weekend because its a very nice hang out spot.

Bonefish has been one of my favorite restaurants in Owings Mills for many years. The servers are always awesome and I've never had a bad meal or experience here. If I had to complain about something, it would be the fact that the price of the Bang Bang Shrimp keeps going up (I also don't like the dish that it's served on now. Bring back the shrimp mountain!). Also, portion sizes are ok because I'm a small girl, but this is definitely not the place for you if you like huge servings.

I love this place. My Fiance and I are new to the area, so we like to keep it close sometimes so we don't have to deal with technology...... Not too many options. But we go here frequently. I've never been disappointed. The restaurant it self is gorgeous inside. The only down side ism that it's a little pricey for the quality. Everything is delicious, but for the price a tad small. I ended up paying about $65 for 1 glass of wine and 2 steak & crabcakes entrees. I recommend it for sure!

  • Mike H.

I would like to first begin with saying that this is one of my favorite restaurants of all times. Now let's get down to the bottom line. I went to this place two weeks ago with my girl. The wait time to be seated was 30 to 40 mins on a Sunday afternoon so we decided to sit at the bar. The bar tender was extremely slow, NOT friendly and frankly she had no idea how to make a Mojito. I was so repulsed by the drink....it made my eyes tear up due to it being so strong. I have never experienced such a terrible drink. I told her that I could not drink it because it was too strong so she suggested putting sprite in it. I said fine. It really wasn't even close to a Mojito. The overall moral to the story is do NOT sit at the bar and order food. If you do you might end up getting the Bitch from the East (white female, glasses and a shitty personality....you can't miss her). The only good thing that came out of this experience was the food!

    (3)
  • J B.

Not bad, but not great! The steak was overcooked and the crab-cake was not a cake, but a pile of crab meat. Doesn't seem good enough. Bar-tender, while behind the bar and serving people, was eating and chomping his gums. Doesn't seem right that a server should be eating while serving and seen by customers. Food runners a great idea, but one girl tried to deliver my drink to the people at the other end of the bar table I was at. This place Needs work!!

Been here a couple of times. Always good. But tonight prompted a review bc the fish tacos were so good!!!! Delicious sauces and mango salsa. Had a side of veggie medley also so delicious had to have a 2nd serving. So did my friend who was with me. And she is a little pickier than me! Our server was great too!! Thanks Justin! And thanks Pam for treating!

I love the food at Bonefish. It is a little pricey though. But go on Wednesdays for the $5 Bang Bang Shrimp its the best deal around. The Imperial Longfish is great. This particular BoneFish is very crowded, which is the only reason I give it 4 instead of 5 stars.

Good food, but certainly not worth being treated rudely and lied to for. Up until tonight, I would have given this restaurant a great review for the food. I've never had a dish I didn't enjoy. But from now on I am officially boycotting this restaurant and here's why - We watched as the hostess seated a couple before us, and all the others on the waiting list, who had literally walked in the door a few minutes prior. We asked why this was the case when my fiance and I had already been waiting for close to half an hour. She told us they had a reservation, which was a blatant lie because as they walked in the door they asked us where the hostess station was to see how long the wait would be. When I shared that with her, she just looked at me and said I was mistaken. As we waited for the manager, Chris, to speak with us, we confirmed with the couple that they did not in fact have a reservation. It turns out, they were putting their name on the list as a guest was handing in his beeper because he found a seat at the bar. But rather than cross that person's name off the list and move on, the hostess decided to seat the couple ahead of the entire waiting list. We shared this with the manager, who just said it was a busy night and his head was spinning. There was never even a simple apology for the inconvenience. Instead it seemed like we were inconveniencing him for asking to speak with him. So as a result, they will never get our business again and I will be sure to share this incident with anyone possible.

Awesome place. The service was excellent, the food delectable. The atmosphere is elegant. I had the Ahi Tuna with which you get the sauce of your choice. Since I had a hard time deciding which I wanted, she brought me all four. This is a prime example of stellar service and exactly what I expect to get. With that comes a generous tip. Without it? No future visits and a trashing on YELP! The food was fresh, the Ahi seared to perfection. Yes, I love it raw but choice is a good thing. Anytime I'm in the area I will go back. My table mate wasn't really happy with her Fish and Chips because I think it was just too "heavy" for her at the moment. I think her husband enjoyed himself, however. As you know, I usually trash chain restaurants but this one is definitely the exception.

When this place just opened and for a few more years it was one of our favorite spots for Mussels, Bang Bang Shrimps, some desserts and service. I think something has changed in management of this place. Now days they've got spoiled by their popularity (due to the deficit of good restaurants in the area) and they suck in all departments, but PARTICULARLY in SERVICE (it became so ignorant, obnoxious and rude that after the third disappointment we've decided enough is enough). Bonefish doesn't need our patronage - fine, we don't need Bonefish ether. P.S. Yesterday we had a very unpleasant experience at the restaurant, the night after that we both had a VERY UNPLEASANT experience in the bathroom after eating their mussels, tuna and shrimps. And this is not the first time they served spoiled food to us. Make your own conclusions to go or not to go to this place.

I love bonefish grill! I personally think its better than red lobster. Its decorated nicely for a seafood place. The best appetizers i have had is the bang bang shrimp and the scallops. The Florida Cobb salad is amazing and so is their kobe burger. Notice how my two favorite meals aren't seafood related? Here's why. Its not that the seafood isn't good, its just not big enough of a proportion. I went there for a date once and he got the salmon and everything was small. Tasty, but small. The steak doesn't have enough flavor for me and the crab cakes are just off. Now the chicken dishes are tasty. The worst thing i have ever had there was the bang bang tacos. Way too much sour cream. The shrimp pasta is okay.

As much as I wanted to be hypercritical about this place being that it is a chain, it is one of the best seafood restaurants I've been to in Maryland. There's something on the menu for everyone -- those with hedonistic food tendencies and weight-watchers. It was reasonaby priced for a seafood joint, service was good and it had a great atmosphere for a date or family dinner. If you're reading this, I'm sure you're smart and planful enough to make reservations. You're going to need them. Because of this, we flew by people that had been waiting to be seated for nearly an hour. A very popular place, as I would expect it would be, since good restaurants in the suburbs are almost always hard to find.

Checked out Bonefish in Evesham on New Year's. Food was great, but the crowd was kind of "old" for my taste. Mental note to self: Stick to the one in Owings Mills, Deptford or Willow Grove.

We reserved a booth for 4 and showed up 20 minutes early and were still seated with no problems. They were quite busy and our waiter did make a few mistakes (wrong drink and wrong dinner---for some reason that only happened to me out of the 4), but he compensated graciously by giving us all free desserts and some free chowder while I waited for my correct meal to be brought out. Other than that mishap, it was a wonderful experience. We had the bang bang (slightly spicy) shrimp and Ahi Tuna for an appetizer. Both were excellent. I had the sirloin and shrimp with scallops for my main course and for some reason I was served longfin with scallops...again, honest mistake. It allowed me to try everyone else's meals and I was quite full by the time my meal came out. All around great time. The bar/waiting area has these tall conversation tables and that allowed for the customers to meet and talk with other parties. It seems like an overall very social place. I'd be happy to go there again. UPDATE: really---just get drinks and apps! I've gone a total of 3 times and my above review was based off the first visit. I can now say that I've never had the entre I ordered brought to me and their lobster nights are a complete joke! I really didn't think lobster tails could ever be so small. Not only were the portions sizes inadequate but the lobster meat was overcooked and much chewier than desired. Drinks and apps have always been great but seriously, the dinner portions have consistently let me down and I've run out of patience.

Bustling atmosphere at 7pm on a Friday night. Ordered the Rockefeller special of the night. Decent portion. Succotash garnish tasted of the frozen-and-bagged sort. Tried the crabcake dinner - too greasy and definitely not reflective of what regional crabcakes are supposed to be. Broccoli side was completely over-salted. Tasted like a brine saute. Found the chef/table interaction to be a little gimmicky. Disappointment ensued after eating the flavorful and delicious calamari appetizer. Waitstaff was pushy. Luckily they're still competent enough to serve fish without tasting fishy.

I decided checked this place out with my GF after seeing an ad in one of those southwest in flight magazines. For starter we had the Mussels Josephine, and Sea Bass for entree Both dishes were great. I would definitely come back again.

Been here probably 8-10 times in the last two years but it's convenient and they have healthy fish options for the area. The food is good, nothing mind blowing up the service is goign down hill. It went from excellent initially to average then to poor. I now have to take a minute to think if I can tolerate the poor service before making a reservation or stopping by. Probably not, at $30-40 a person, there enough options that I don't have to go here any more.

Hey...on Wednesdays, the bang bang shrimp deal is UNDENIABLE. I got the bang bang shrimp, bang bang chicken, and a mango artwheel.....my bill was less than $20. Only drawback...you WILL WAIT at least an hour if its after 6. I guess everybody knows how good the food is. I waited and the wait was worth it

Been here 8 times now and never had anything I didn't thoroughly enjoy. This restaurant is always very busy yet I never wait very long for my food. The quality of the food is incredible and the service is awesome. Very well managed restaurant.

Had the filet mignon and bang bang shrimp tonight. The steak was not seasoned and flavorless. But the shrimp was tasty. Dessert was disappointing. Gross warm custard( who serves coconut custard warm?) coconut pie. I took three bites of this gelatiness mess and stopped eating it. 1/2 way through our meal our server dissapeared. And when we gave him our credit card to pay the check. He came back with the bill but no credit card. Claimed he had given it back to us and we had lost or misplaced it. The manager came over( after I requested him). Just shrugged his shoulders. No apology!. Didn't even offer us a drink while we were waiting a very long long time for our credit card. Finally the server said he found my card in another part of the restaurant. Then I said to him I told you we did not have the card. After 1/2 an he he finally apologized. But lacked any sincerity. Will not be returning here. The servers and management need some serious training in hospitality and costumer service.

Good times.

    (1)

  • Rick S.

  • Nicki T.

This is one of my favorite spots to dine in Owing Mills. The fish is always fresh, and they have great portions with many available flavors to choose from. The waiters are always well versed on the menu and good with the patrons.

I love the food at Bonefish. It is a little pricey though. But go on Wednesdays for the $5 Bang Bang Shrimp its the best deal around. The Imperial Longfish is great. This particular BoneFish is very crowded, which is the only reason I give it 4 instead of 5 stars.
